AGYS ends the year with continued success in its international expansion

Major strategic initiatives, worldwide recognition and new customers sum up this year’s results

2013 was a successful year for AGYS, as the company experienced continued revenue growth, new high profile customer wins, regional market expansion in the GCC and Australia, and continued recognition as a best in class developer of market leading Business Process Management applications.

Leading the year’s expansion efforts was the joint venture partnership entered into in March with Gulf Business Machine, IBM’s largest distributor in the Gulf Central Region. This strategic initiative brings together two of the most globally respected IBM business partners into a new entity, for delivering a new level of customer value provided by AGYS’s award winning solutions and expertise and the strong, multi practice capabilities of GBM, the leading IT solutions provider in GCC.

The venture has already resulted in significant progress for both companies with signature wins in Kuwait and Qatar and expected near term wins in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

In February this year, AGYS’s MCP (Major Capital Projects) solution received IBM’s Beacon Award within the “Best Industry Solution for Energy & Utilities” category, at the PartnerWorld Leadership Conference (PWLC) 2013. This recognition is given to the top three global solutions within each of IBM’s core industry sectors across their global partner community.

Continuing with the companies focus on innovation, 2013 also saw AGYS announce major new releases of both it’s MCPTM and PlenaryTM applications. Incorporated in these releases were the new Plenary and MCP Process Live Management platforms (PLM) that promote accelerated application deployment time and a higher degree of self manageability by customers. They also include Process Live View (PLV), an innovative process tracking capability that provides real time feedback on stage performance, with automatic escalations based on client KPI’s.
